Lazy Boy Brewing Teams-Up with Local Restaurant Chain

I don’t think it is too much to ask. If you are going to use the word brew in your restaurant’s name, then you should actually have some semblance of an interest in beer. Bob’s Burgers & Brew is a local restaurant chain with about a dozen locations across Washington, mostly in Whatcom, Skagit and Snohomish Counties. I’ve never been, but by most accounts the beer selection is passable for a restaurant of its type. The beer selection at Bob’s just got better.  Now, Bob’s has its own beer.

Not long ago, Bob’s Burgers & Brew decided that it wanted its own house beer. To brew it, the company turned to Lazy Boy Brewing. “The guys at Bob’s Burgers & Brew and Columbia [Distributing] were very helpful in adding there input for the beer style they wanted brewed,” says Shawn Loring, the owner/Brewmaster at Lazy Boy Brewing. “We had some inspirations in various Ambers on the market. The final product has a nice balance of malt versus hops. A 50-pound bag of Victory is added just for good measure. If proven popular, Bob’s may want to rotate different seasonals as well.”
