Lowercase Brewing celebrates an anniversary on November 18th and other news

Lowercase Brewing is about to celebrate the one-year anniversary of its taproom in Georgetown. Join them on Saturday, November 18th (all day) for swag giveaways, raffles for cool stuff, featured food items, and the release of a special collaboration beer brewed with Georgetown Brewing.

The collaboration beer is described as an Italian Pilsner that was modeled after Birrificio Italiano’s Tipopils. Birrificio Italiano is an esteemed craft brewery in Italy. Keep an eye on their Facebook page for details. Lowercase Brewing’s Chris Smith says, “Light and crisp, but with an interesting fruity hop kiss, this beer is both unique and delicious!”

Also, some other news from Lowercase. The taproom is now hosting a pop-up coffee shop four days a week. Thursday thru Sunday, Side Hustle Coffee & Doughnuts will operate out of Lowercase’s space, offering mini-brioche style doughnuts utilizing spent grain from the brewery along with cold-brewed coffee beverages from Pier Coffee served up in mason jars!

According to Chris, “The space already looked and felt like a coffee shop, so it was a no-brainer to let Side Hustle do their thing in the mornings.”
