The Malt & Vine Presents the Northwest Beer Brackets

Starting on Wednesday, November 6, the Malt & Vine in Redmond will host a series of head-to-head brewery showdowns. The Northwest Brew Brackets feature 16 different breweries. On each event night, two breweries will visit the Malt & Vine for typical brewers night shenanigans. At each event, each brewery will pour three different beers, two from their regular lineup and one special, limited release beer.

The attendees at each event will vote for which of the two breweries they’d like to see return for the next round. The first round runs through February, the second round through March and April, with the final round taking place in May during Seattle Beer Week.

“The breweries will be here having fun and engaging with customers,” said the Malt & Vine’s Anastasia Logan. “We will be giving a ticket out for each beer poured by the participating breweries, guests will then have the option to vote for whichever brewery they’d like to see back. Tickets will be counted at the end of evening and the brewery with most tickets will move on to the next round.”
