Mariners team up with local breweries for pregame beer fest, August 1st

Join the Seattle Mariners for a special beer night at the ballpark, featuring lots of local brews, special ticket pricing, and you even get a “True to the Brew” Mariners T-shirt. Monday, August 1st vs. the Red Sox. Basically, it’s a pregame brewfest.

By now you probably know that Safeco Field, home of the Seattle Mariners, offers a beer selection that makes most other Major League ballparks blush. The folks running the beer program have made a serious commitment to good beer, including lots of local beer, and Mariners fans have no shortage of great beer choices at the ballpark.

For the third year, the Mariners and Odom Distributing have put together a great promotion focusing on local Washington breweries and baseball. This year they chose opening night of the Boston Red Sox series – Monday August 1. The event goes from 5:10 – 7:10 and for just $33, you get two pints of brew, a view level seat, and a “True to the Brew” Mariners T-shirt.

The exact list of beers each brewery will bring has yet to be determined, but for a teaser, we know that Schooner Exact Brewing plans to bring its amazing, award-winning Framboise.
