25 Beers for 25 Years

When Maritime Pacific Brewing started making beer, there was no Pearl Jam. A new television show called The Simpsons was just hitting the airwaves. Most people had never even heard of Bill Clinton and nobody knew that then-President George Bush had children with political aspirations.

On Saturday, August 22nd in Ballard, Maritime Pacific Brewing celebrates its 25th anniversary with a party at the brewery (all ages). The beer lineup includes 25 beers for 25 years, featuring guest taps from other Ballard breweries to complement the lineup of Maritime Pacific beers. In all, over 37 beers, ciders and wines. 

Music and Food: Beyond beer, the event offers live music all day long (lineup below). The food lineup features BBQ pork and beef, corn on the cob, potato salad, cole slaw, baked beans, clams and mussels, hot dogs, and more.

Fun Stuff: Large inflatable toys, a rock climbing wall, a mechanical bull and other fun street features. Purchase vouchers for these activities onsite, the price ranges from $2 to $4 per ride, or an unlimited voucher for $35.

Location:
Located in Ballard between 14th Ave. NW and 11th Ave. NW on NW Ballard Way, in Ballard’s Beautiful Southeastern Industrial Area. Parking available on the street or in Trupanion’s Parking Lot right down the street.

Also it’s an easy commute by bicycle via the Burke Gilman Trail or by using Metro 28, 40 or the D line to or from Downtown Seattle.

****All Tickets must be presented at Information/Ticket Kiosk at the Event to pick up wrist bands and vouchers. Must be 21 years and older with ID to purchase beer and or redeem beer voucher. Cash and credit cards accepted. Net proceeds benefit the Ballard Food Bank.
