Maritime Pacific Brewing releases 5 draft versions of Jolly Roger on Friday, November 1st

It’s a sure sign of the season, one that has endured the years as so many things have changed in Seattle. On Friday, November 1st, Maritime Pacific Brewing releases the 2019 rendition of its classic Holiday Ale. Actually, five different versions of the venerable holiday ale.

Here’s the official announcement.

“Christmas 2019 is coming fast. With the release of the holiday ales in bottles, draft can only be next. Maritime Pacific Brewing Company’s own winter warmer is the prized Jolly Roger Christmas Ale. A rich, malt-driven ale with a hop forward character, Jolly Roger is made from a blend of malted barleys and wheat. Its distinctive flavor and nose is a result of blending 5 different malted grains: Pale, Crystal, Carastan, Munich and Wheat, with 3 distinctive Northwest hops: Cascade, Chinook and Amarillo. Sporting a 9.5 % ABV and a 42 IBU, this beer will be eminently drinkable, from the time it first hits the market this year to even after 3-5 years of cellaring, something that aficionados have already begun to do with the bottled version. Jolly Roger on draft by Maritime Pacific is worth seeking out.”
