Meet the Yeti – Fremont Brewing’s B-Bomb release party

Fremont Brewing releases the 2014 version of its wildly popular Bourbon Barrel Aged Abominable Ale on Friday, November 28th from 5:00 – 9:00 in the Urban Beer Garden. Rumor has it the Yeti from the logo will be making an appearance and available for holiday photos!

In addition to the Bourbon Abominable on tap, and available for purchase in 22 ounce bottles, Fremont will pour five different infused versions. At 7:00, one of Fremont’s brewers discusses the history of the B-Bomb, the key ingredients and stats, the barrel aging and blending process, and the ways in which you can expect the beer to change as it ages.

DESCRIPTION: Lovingly referred to by Fremonters as B-Bomb, this year’s release was aged in 12 and 15 year old American Oak bourbon barrels and is a blend of 24 and 12-month old barrel strength Abominable Ale. Each barrel contributes a different note and combining each barrel to create a coherent tone is a distinct art and true pleasure.
