Naked City 4th Anniversary Party on October 27th

Yesterday we told you about the first anniversary party for Hilliard’s Beer. Today, more anniversary news. Naked City Brewery and Taphouse is about to celebrate its 4th anniversary. On October 27th you are invited to join the crew at Naked City when they tap into an impressive lineup of 19 house-brewed beers, food specials and live music.

The Naked City Taphouse side of the business has become a favorite destination for beer lovers across the city, embraced by a neighborhood that didn’t realize how badly it needed a good beer joint until Naked City opened. The Naked City Brewery side of the business is rapidly gaining a reputation as one of Washington’s most creative and beloved craft beer producers. While brewer Don Webb has never been short on inspiration, a recent expansion project is helping the brewery export beer to other neighborhoods and across the state.

Here is the word from Naked City:

We’re celebrating another year of beer in the Naked City! How time flies when life is rich with good friends, great food, delicious beer, and the best culture and art in the Northwest. Join us for an all day celebration of all things NC, including live music from Simon Kornelius and many special guests, oyster shooters, food specials, and a delicious array of rare Naked City beers available ONLY ONCE A YEAR on this special day of days.

Headlining a taplist of 19 Naked City beers is our fourth anniversary ale, a special bourbon barrel-aged Big Lebrewski, an Imperial Cream Stout. We’ll also have a Syrah barrel-aged Belgian tripel with brett bruxellensis, our third anniversary beer Dark Passage, Bing Holiday Ale, Chili Dobb’s Gold infused with Yakima Valley peppers, Sudden Impact Coffee IPA, Fleur d’Elise saison, another as-yet-unnamed Saison, Smoktoberfest rausch beer, Podunk IPA, Athena IPA, I’m all Chinook Up IPA, Pinkerton Porter, Betsy’s Mountain, Screening Room Red, Yankee Drifter, Dobb’s Gold, Boo Radley Pumpkin Ale, and a very special cask of pumpkin ale infused with pumpkin blossom honey that Don has aptly named Honey Boo Boo. And we may add one or two more!

We’ll also have a limited edition 4th anniversary t-shirt designed by the brilliant Tasha Reidman, available only at the pub on this day. Mark your calendars, get a good night’s sleep, and saddle up early for a glorious day and night of feasting and revelry.
