Suncadia, a year round mountain resort 90 miles east of Seattle, teamed up with Iron Horse Brewery to craft an exclusive Suncadia beer. All you have to do is vote for your favorite name and you might earn a tee time for your foursome. To vote, simply go to either the Suncadia Facebook page or Iron Horse Brewery Facebook page. All voters are eligible to win. In other words, you don’t have to pick the winning name to be the winner. Just vote.
The winning beer name will be announced at the Boondoggle. The event takes place at Suncadia on Saturday, July 2nd. The Boondoggle is a nine-hole golf tournament, followed by a party and concert. Resort Partners With Local Brewery to Launch Exclusive Amber
Roslyn, Wash. (June 6, 2011) – Suncadia, a year round mountain resort located just 90 minutes east of Seattle, is excited to announce that it has teamed up with Iron Horse Brewery of Ellensburg, Wash., to craft an exclusive Suncadia beer. Facebook fans of Suncadia and Iron Horse Brewery have the opportunity to name the new brew which will be announced at Suncadia during the Iron Horse Boondoggle, a special launch event on Saturday, July 2, 2011.
From now until Monday, June 20, participants can vote for their favorite beer name on the Suncadia and Iron Horse Brewery Facebook pages from the following options: Powerhouse Ale, Boiler House Brew, Suncadia Trail Ale, Milepost 80 Ale and Big Dirty Amber. All voters will be entered to win one of five complimentary invitations to participate in the inaugural Iron Horse Boondoggle golf tournament with three friends.

- 3 p.m. – Iron Horse Boondoggle Golf Tournament
The 9-hole tournament at Suncadia’s new Rope Rider course will feature food and beer pairings at each hole, expertly created by Suncadia Chef Andrew Wilson. Hamburgers and bratwursts will be served along with microbrews that include Iron Horse Brewery’s 509, High 5, IPA, Irish Death and the new Suncadia amber.
- 6:30 p.m. – Iron Horse Brewery “You’re Welcome” After Party
The complimentary after party at the Village Amphitheatre will include a number of kid’s activities, prizes and giveaways, beer and food for purchase, as well as the long awaited unveiling of Suncadia’s mystery beer.
- 7 p.m. – Summer Nights in the Village concert featuring Left Hand Smoke
Previously categorized as rock and roll, Left Hand Smoke is now a self-proclaimed hybrid combining catchy hooks and soulful melodies with rock. The Seattle-based band, which has opened for the likes of John Mayer, Maroon 5 and Pearl Jam, will perform as part of Suncadia’s complimentary Summer Nights in the Village concert series. The annual concert series takes place at the Village Amphitheatre and is sponsored by the Suncadia Fund for Community Enhancement.
