Welcome Narrows Brewing Company – our newest sponsor

Today we’d like to welcome Narrows Brewing as our newest blog sponsor. The brewery has been open at the Narrows Marina since July of 2013. When five friends in Tacoma teamed up to open the brewery, one of the smartest decisions they made was to hire an experience, professional brewer: Joe Walts, formerly a brewer at Ale Asylum Brewing in Madison, Wisconsin. Straight out of the gate, the beers were polished and flawless.

The brewery is located at the Narrows Marina. Along with tasty brews, Narrows Brewing’s tasting room offers an excellent view of Washington’s most famous bridge. The walls are decorated with historic photos of the namesake bridge’s storied past.

Although it has been open for lest than a year and a half, Narrows Brewing quickly made a name for itself serving up rock-solid regular offerings like Galloping Gertie Golden Ale and Giant Pacific Octopus IPA. Joe Walts has also knocked out some exceptional seasonal beers already, like the Siren’s Call Hibiscus Saison. Away from the brewery, you can find Narrows Brewing’s beers throughout the South Sound area and beyond. Check the website to see the list of locations pouring it.
