New, rare and hoppy seasonal release from Walking Man

submit to reddit

This Friday, Walking Man Brewing will release a new seasonal IPA. It’s called Runaway IPA and they tell us that it is hoppy. Knowing Walking Man, that’s not really a surprise. For Runaway IPA they used Centennial whole leaf hops as well as Sorachi Ace hops for dry hopping. Sorachi Ace are a new, relatively rare hop from Japan.

Makes me wish I could shrug off the responsibilities of life and make a trip to Stevenson this Friday. Hmmm.

Actually, Sorachi Ace are (also) grown in the Yakima Valley at the Virgil Gamache Ranch…yes, the same place where they grow Amarillo hops.
