Nine years and Two Beers Brewing – Anniversary party November 5th

Two Beers Brewing Company is one of many success stories in the Seattle beer industry. It started as a homebrewing hobby in a basement, graduated to a nano-brewery working out of a storage unit, basically, and today Two Beers Brewing operates one of Seattle’s larger breweries and taprooms at its expansive location in SoDo. On Saturday, November 5th (1:00 – 7:00 PM) the brewery celebrates it ninth anniversary and you are invited.

The team at Two Beers Brewing dug into the cellar and opened the barrels for a special tap lineup that you won’t want to miss. Also, Two Beers Brewing’s winter seasonal beers – Jive Espresso Stout and the new Tipsy Toboggan Winter Ale – will make their debut on tap and on the shelves.

“I’m proud and amazed by how far our brewery has come in nine years,” said Joel VandenBrink, founder of Two Beers Brewing Co. “To look back at the 170 square feet we started in and how much we’ve grown as a team is inspiring. We’ll continue to push the boundaries as we enter into our tenth year and I can’t wait to see what the future holds.”

In addition to the tap lineup, Two Beers Brewing welcomes back fan favorite Jive Espresso Stout. Jive Espresso Stout, available on nitro draft and in 22-ounce bottles, is a chocolaty espresso milk stout featuring locally roasted direct-trade espresso from Fulcrum Coffee. Combine with flavorful oatmeal malt, this full-bodied beer, offering 7.5% ABV and 45 IBUs, features layers of flavor with just a hint of espresso lingering on the palette.

Tipsy Toboggan also joins the fun as Two Beers Brewing’s newest brew, available on draft and in six packs of 12-ounce cans. A dark and toasty warming winter ale, Tipsy Toboggan offers notes of chocolate, date, plum and orange with a dash of hops. The deep dark color and full flavored finish pair perfectly with winter nights, outdoor adventures and holiday celebrations, coming in at 6.8% ABV and 62 IBUs.

Select ciders from Seattle Cider Company will also be on tap, with a special anniversary menu available for purchase from Bread and Circuses.
