The 9th Annual Barley Bacchanal kicks off today at the Beveridge Place Pub in West Seattle. Gird thy liver! This is one of the premier “big beer” events in the Seattle area. The event runs through Sunday, March 6th. You’ll find 24 taps dedicated to barleywine. A total of 50 will be tapped throughout the event. The beers will change frequently. Some days will include verticals of the same beer.

In addition to the 24 barleywines, they’ll also have their house regulars on tap, just in case you aren’t burly enough to handle this much barleywine: Boundary Bay IPA, Georgetown Brewing Manny’s Pale Ale, Two Beers Immersion Amber, Odin Freya’s Gold Kolsch, Baron Pilsner, Schooner Exact Gallant Maiden Hefeweizen, and Hale’s Cream Stout.
