No-Li Brewhouse introduces cans of Imperial Stout

A lot of locally brewed beers are now available in cans. There’s no shortage of IPAs, Pale Ales, Ambers and Porters on the shelves at the local grocery story, but not too many Imperial Stouts find there way into aluminum cans. Spokane’s No-Li Brewhouse just announced the release of its Wrecking Ball Imperial Stout in 12-ounce cans. Available across Washington and Norther Idaho in six-packs and clocking in at 9.6 ABV. WOO HOO!

Here’s the announcement from the brewery:

SPOKANE, USA — No-Li Brewhouse announced today the release of its latest 12-ounce can, the fan-favorite Wrecking Ball Imperial Stout. The new six-pack is now available in Washington and North Idaho grocery stores and bottle shops.

Weighing in at a sturdy 9.6 ABV and 100 IBUs and has been beloved by No-Li drinkers since it debuted in 2013. Featuring flavors of coffee, chocolate and brown sugar, Wrecking Ball also packs a hoppy punch to balance itself out. The beer, which won a gold medal at the 2014 Great International Beer & Cider Competition, began on draft at No-Li’s Spokane, Wash., pub and then became a regional favorite when it went into 12-ounce bottles, and then 22-ounce bottles.

Wrecking Ball now joins No-Li’s four other canned beers — Born & Raised IPA, Red White & No-Li Pale Ale, Big Juicy IPA and No-Li Amber — on shelves throughout the region and is one of the only imperial stouts that’s packaged in a can.
