No-Li Brewhouse Introduces Fresh Sheet Kegs

No-Li Brewhouse in Spokane is making a commitment to getting the freshest beer possible to retail accounts in Seattle and Portland. To that end, they are now going to offer “Fresh Sheet kegs” to key accounts in the Seattle and Portland areas. The brewery made the announcement yesterday via a press release (below).

No-Li Morphs The Fresh Sheet: Applies Restaurant Menu Concept to One-Off Kegs

Hyper-fresh craft beer offered throughout the Pacific Northwest

SPOKANE, Wash…The continuously innovative team at No-Li Brewhouse is now offering the Fresh Sheet keg – one-off kegs crafted, brewed and transported to key accounts within 24 hours of production. As soon as the keg is racked, it’s thrown in a car and driven to Seattle and Portland distributors to deliver to priority retail accounts.

Each week, No-Li is offering only two Fresh Sheet kegs to craft beer pubs across the Pacific Northwest.

“Small is beautiful!” said No-Li co-founder and brew master Mark Irvin. “We still rack kegs one at a time by hand. We are taking freshness to a whole new level by this artisan approach relished by the beer customer.”

No-Li is the epitome of ‘Spokane-Style’ beer and as the name implies uses all ingredients from the Inland Northwest in addition to being brewed and packaged in Spokane. To date, Saraveza in Portland, Hop Shop in Spokane, and Elliott Bay Pizza in Seattle have received same-day keg deliveries from brewery to distributor to pub.

What was formerly known as the Northern Lights Brewing Company was renamed No-Li Brewhouse in April 2011, by co-founder and master brewer, Mark Irvin, and craft beer industry veteran, John Bryant, both with deep roots in Spokane. In addition to the state of Washington, No-Li is distributed in Colorado, Maryland and Washington D.C.

No-Li produces 22-ounce bottles as well as draft brands in five styles: Silent Treatment Pale, Born & Raised IPA, Crystal Bitter ESB, Jet Star Imperial IPA and Wrecking Ball Imperial Stout. Taking the craft beer world by storm in it’s freshman year, No-Li won a gold medal from the 2012 Great American Beer Festival for Crystal Bitter ESB, gold & silver medals at the 2012 Japan International Beer Competition, two silver medals at the 2012 Brussels International Beer Competition, a bronze medal at the 2012 European Beer Star Competition, and three medals at the 2013 Australian International Beer Competition. In 2012, No-Li earned accolades as a top brewery to watch in 2013 by Draft Magazine, Best of the Northwest by the Seattle Post Intelligencer, and Crystal Bitter was named one of 21 top U.S. Beers of the Year by the St. Louis Post-Dispatch.
