Updated September 15: Odin Brewing Company just announced the date for the official grand opening event at its new taproom: Friday, September 19th. The new brewery and taproom is located at 402 Baker Blvd. in Tukwila, about a half-block due east of the South Center shopping mall and a block west of the Green River Trail (for you bike riders). We originally reported on the move back in June (see the story).
The Grand Opening event is open to all ages and will include live music from 5:00 – 7:00, raffles for Odin schwag, and tasty bites from the taproom’s kitchen. Keep an eye on Odin’s Facebook page for more details. At the event, Odin will also introduce its Harvest Lager.

Eventually, the location will house the brewery, but for now it is just a new taproom. Compared to Asgard Tavern, Odin Brewing’s other taproom, the new location is spacious. In addition to plenty of interior seating, there’s a large patio with custom-built picnic tables. Another stark difference from Asgard, the Tukwila taproom offers easy and ample parking.

The taproom occupies just a small portion of the 15,000 square-foot building. Odin Brewing has big expansion plans in the works and the new location offers plenty of room to support the forthcoming, larger brewery. In the meantime, the company continues to brew at its facility in South Park.

Odin Brewing Opens Its Doors In Tukwila And Introduces Its New German-Style Harvest Lager
Seattle, WA – September 12, 2014
After several months of upgrades and build out, Odin Brewing has finally opened the doors to its retail tasting room, at its new facility in Tukwila, WA. Located at 402 Baker Boulevard, the tasting room will serve as a wonderful social center for surrounding businesses and residents of the city of Tukwila.
“The Tap Room is a great first step in our transition to this new facility, and we are thrilled with the way it’s turned out” says Dan Lee, Owner & Founder of Odin. “We are excited to offer for the first time a full menu designed to complement our beers. Children are welcome in the restaurant portion of the tap room too. We are also excited to release the next in our ‘Campaign Series’ of beer, our ‘German-Style Harvest Lager’. This is a great addition to our line up and I think customers will be taken with its rich copper color and clean finish.”
Odin Brewing will be holding its launch event for the public on Sept 19th with doors opening at 11am. We will also be holding a special night for the press on Tuesday, September 16th from 5pm to 9pm and invite all members of the press to come join us to experience our new home and beer.
