Over 20 breweries and restaurants invite you to Vancouver, WA to Dine the Couve

In case you haven’t noticed, the brewing scene has exploded in Vancouver, Washington. People always talks about the beer and brewery scene in Portland, and rightly so, but across the river in Vancouver there is also a robust beer scene.  (See our map of Southwest Washington Breweries to see what I mean.) The folks at Visit Vancouver USA recognize that breweries and beers are an important part of the city’s culture. That said…

southwest_wa-breweriesThis October, Visit Vancouver USA presents its first-ever dining month, Dine the Couve, with over 20 participating restaurants, breweries and tasting rooms. Restaurants in downtown Vancouver will serve three items for $23 (alongside regular menu offerings), while breweries and tasting rooms will have $3 beer specials for the entire month.

What sets Dine the Couve apart from other similar programs? Unlike many dining months and restaurant weeks, this one highlights the integral nature of breweries to a destination’s dining scene. Most breweries will be offering $3 taster flights. Others will offer $3 pints for the entire month of October. See the lists of participating breweries and restaurants below.

“Vancouver USA’s restaurant and brewery scene continues to grow at a rapid pace, providing unique destination assets for both residents and visitors to enjoy,” said Kim Bennett, president and CEO of Visit Vancouver USA. “Dine the Couve is a celebration of what makes our local culinary and brew scene stand out — quality, affordability and a collaborative spirit.”
