The annual Parkway IPA Fest is upon us and they have an amazing assortment of beer lined up this year. The event takes place this Saturday – August 22nd. Below is the official scoop from the folks at the Parkway, including the beer lineup.
It’s that glorious time of year again when The Parkway celebrates the magic of the hop. We’ve gathered together an outstanding selection of 37 IPAs for our 4th Annual Parkway Tavern IPA Fest being held on Saturday August 22nd from 2pm-2am.
Many of our local breweries have promised to do something a little special for us this year, but we’ll have to wait to see what they came up with because brewers seldom work to a strict schedule.
As usual, an accommodating group of pigs have laid down their lives and agreed to be roasted on our massive grill, alongside slabs of prime rib and juicy brats.
We are especially excited about the Boundary Bay Imperial which is rarely released from the brewery and will be a first for the South Sound. Other firsts for us include the offering from Dogfish Head, Firestone Walker Double Jack, Boulevard Single Wide, Elliot Bay Imperial, and a special from our friends at the Harmon, Commencement Bay IPA, with a massive 100 IBUs.
We do this for ourselves, but we are OK with sharing.
