Pike Brewing invites you to take a trip into the cellar at this year’s Old Bawdy Brewer’s Night on Thursday, March 3. The annual event at the Pike Pub involves a vertical tasting, a rare chance to taste seven vintages (2009 to 2015) of Pike’s classic and award winning barley wines, side by side. Get your tickets now.
Pike Head Brewer, Art Dixon, will be there to answer your questions about barley wine and how to properly age it.
Tickets for the Pike Old Bawdy Barley Wine Brewer’s Night are $25 in advance or at the door. WABL and Pub Club members bring your passport to the door for reduced ($20) tickets. The tasting is open from 4:30 to 7:00 in the Pike Microbrewery Museum.
Pike Brewing Company’s Old Bawdy Barley Wines have been brewed annually from 1991 to 1997, and then were re-introduced in 2006. The 2007, 2009, 2010 and the 2014 vintages have all recently won medals in beer tasting competitions.
