PNA Summer Beer Taste – get your tickets now

By North Seattle Sarah – North Seattle Bureau Chief for the Washington Beer Blog –

(Editor’s Note: Next Saturday, July 16th, the Phinney Neighborhood Association will once again host it’s annual Summer Beer Taste. We encourage you to buy tickets now. This event will likely sell out.)

I’ve reached a point now where my friends ask me what we should do this weekend, and when I reply, they roll their eyes and say, “another beer fest?”  Ah, but ‘tis the season for beer, barbecues, and being outdoors. The beer festivals keep rolling in, and I won’t stop attending until the day I’ve tried every beer out there (yes, I know that will never happen).

Saturday, July 16th is the 6th Annual Phinney Neighborhood Association’s Summer Beer Taste from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., also being called “Beervana” this year. $30 admission ($25 if you’re a PNA member) gets you 10 tastes from over 20 local breweries, along with snacks and food provided by Barking Dog Alehouse.
