PNA Winter Beer Taste celebrates 30th year with 6 collaboration beers

Each year the Phinney Neighborhood Association hosts a winter beer festival. They’ve been doing it for a long time. In fact, this year marks the 30th Annual PNA Winter Beer Taste. To the best of my knowledge, the event commonly referred to as “The PNA” is the longest-running beer festival in Washington.

To commemorate the big anniversary, event organizers partnered with six local breweries to produce special collaboration beers for the event. Descriptions of the beers are listed below. Of course, in addition to those beers they’ll serve a whole bunch of others. In all, nearly 40 breweries will pour at the event.

The PNA takes place Saturday, November 11th at the Phinney Center in Seattle. For complete event details, including a complete list of breweries, and to secure your tickets, visit https://www.phinneycenter.org/calendar/winter-beer-taste17/.

The PNA Collaboration Beer:

Georgetown Brewing –  Chardell Chocovfefe Stout – A full bodied sessionable stout made with cold brew coffee from Cafe Umbria and cold conditioned on chocolate nibs from Theo’s to give this beer a rich coffee aroma that’s laced with a chocolate essence that’s not overwhelming, but gives a nice rounded roasted and nutty finish. 4.7% ABV.
