Portland hosting 40th Annual National Homebrewers Conference June 28 – 30

 

This June homebrewers from across the country descend upon Portland, Oregon for the 40th Annual National Homebrewers Conference, which is now known as Homebrew Con. Organizers expect about 3,000 homebrewers to attend the event to hear from over 90 presenters, including keynote speaker Charlie Papazian who recent stepped away from his 40-year career with the Brewers Association (read it).

WHAT: Homebrewers from across the country will come together in Rose City for Homebrew Con, also known as the National Homebrewers Conference. Hosted by the American Homebrewers Association (AHA), the three-day event—which celebrates its 40th anniversary this year—is the ultimate experience for anyone interested in homebrewing and understanding beer, mead and cider. Homebrew Con features interactive sessions, workshops and demonstrations that cater to beer enthusiasts and amateur brewers of every level.

The conference culminates with the National Homebrew Competition, the world’s largest beer competition, which recognizes the most outstanding homebrewed beer, mead and cider produced by amateur brewers worldwide.

  1. Beerpulse is reporting that the 40th convention of the American Homebrewers Association (AHA) will be held in June of 2018 in Portland, Oregon. It”s going to be beervana for all in attendance! The convention, also known as “Homebrew Con is billed as the “ultimate experience for anyone interested in homebrewing beer, mead, and cider.
