Poulsbo’s new brewery nears opening

Back in December, we posted an early distant warning about a new brewery opening in Poulsbo.  Today we’re posting more information. Jeff Holcomb, owner/brewer at Valholl Brewing, sent us this update to share:

Just wanted to throw you an update about Valholl Brewing. We got our Brewers Notice and just need final walk-through for our Liquor License. The city of Poulsbo has been the biggest delay in getting our business license, but it is looking like an early August opening. We changed locations and are now at 20186 B Front Street (Map). The old location was not big enough for the tasting room we wanted. We are brewing test batches in prep for our opening date. We are on twitter and Facebook and the website is up and will be completed in the next few weeks.

  1. Jeff,
This is great news! I look forward to you guys being open and it will make Poulsbo a better place! Cheers and best of luck. Let me know if I can do anything for you. cheers,
    Travis and 7 Seas crew

  2. Ah the Kitsap Beer Tour grows closer to a reality. Maybe drive down across the bridge and begin at 7 Seas? On to Der Blokken in Bremerton. Sliver City and the new Hales pub in Silverdale. Valholl in Poulsbo. Nap on the ferry. Back in Seattle. Optional detour up to Hood Canal Brewing and Port Townsend Brewing for the hard of liver and designated of driver…

  3. Really looking forward to it. Don’t forget about us older people that love beer and don’t make it too noisy.
