Queers and Beers event this Thursday at Two Doors Down

Thursday, June 22, from 8:00 til midnight, Two Doors Down is hosting Queers and Beers. They’re calling it “a celebration of frothy pints and ice cold cider at Seattle’s only gay-owned beer and burger bar.” Basically, it’s a beer-fueled, prideful celebration of love and freedom.

At the event they’ll feature 20 beers and ciders on tap from some of Washington’s many gay-friendly breweries and cideries. Two Doors Down is located near the corner of 23rd and Madison in Seattle, near the point where Capitol Hill turns into Madison Valley.

They invite everyone to join them and “Enjoy an IPA from Lucky Envelope Brewing, make a (drinking) statement with Standard Brewing’s Covfefe Kolsch, or try the revered Snowdrift Perry Cider, made from pears hand-picked in Eastern Washington.”

Beyond the beer and cider, they’ll be giving away T-shirts, glasses, and growlers throughout the night. Also, they’ll be dancing along to Priscilla Queen of the Desert on the big screens. And, of course, at Two Doors down you can always enjoy one of Seattle’s best burgers (even vegan and GF too).
