Rainy Daze Brewing wins Favorite Beer Award at Gig Harbor Beer Festival

Last Saturday in Gig Harbor, beer lovers gathered for the Gig Harbor Beer Festival. For the second year in a row, Rainy Daze Brewing won the award for Favorite Brew, the peoples choice award.

Located in Silverdale, Washington, Rainy Daze Brewing is a nano brewery operated by Mike Montoney – a small brewery earning a big reputation. This is not the first award the brewery has won. In fact last year Rainy Daze Brewing brought home four medals from the Washington Beer Awards:

• Gold medal, Hypocrite Double IPA
• Silver medal, RainyRye (rye and wheat beer)
• Bronze medal, Belgian Bastard IPA
• Bronze medal, English Pale

Other notable accolades include:

• 2014 Gig Harbor BeerFest People Choice Award
• 2015 Strange Brewfest 2nd Place Overall
