While Seattle Beer Week is set to get underway, we just got word that Naked City will be featuring some rare WA beer treats this weekend. All of Naked City’s taps will be switched over to Washington beers this Friday. Rare treats will include kegs from Ice Harbor Brewing (Tri Cities), Salmon Creek Brewpub (Vancouver, WA), and Hazel Dell Brewpub (Vancouver, WA). Away from beer touring and beer festivals, most Seattleites have yet to taste these beers. But wait, there’s more! They will also be tapping a keg of Yakima Craft Brewing’s IPA. The folks at Yakima were recently awarded an A+ for this beer by Beer Advocate (read our original post) and this is the first keg to make it into the Seattle market, as far as we know.
All of this coincides with Naked City’s Ale of Two Cities event (read about that at seattlebeerweek.com or at nakedcitybrewing.com).
