Coffee and beer, staples that define Seattle, uniquely blended in this limited release IPA from Redhook Brewery

SEATTLE, WASH. – October 8, 2018 – Redhook is releasing Continuous Revelation Coffee IPA, an ode to Seattle, the coffee and beer mecca of the United States. Redhook Brewlab Head Brewer and Washington Native Nick Crandall’s passion for both coffee and beer led to the creation of his latest limited release brew, Continuous Revelation IPA.

“Seattle is built on coffee in the morning and beer in the evening, thus the name Continuous Revelation – and we wanted to play with that a little as we began thinking about a late-year limited release beer,” said Crandall. “We decided to go with a coffee IPA, and using Amarillo hops paired with some nuanced single-origin beans to make an IPA that matched the coffee’s sweet and bitter notes.”

The Guatemalan single-origin coffee bean bursts with chocolate and lemon aromas and its soft spice notes are complimented nicely by Crandall’s use of citrusy Amarillo hops. At 6.5 percent alcohol by volume, it’s the perfect beer for both coffee and hoppy beer fans.
