Ring in the new year with fried chicken, gravy, biscuits and beer

New Year’s Eve is Wednesday night. Whether you go out to party and rage against the dying of another calendar year, or stay home to hunker down safely away from the perils of amateur night, Schooner EXACT Brewing invites you to join them on New Year’s Day.

Join Schooner EXACT Brewing Company on Thursday, January 1st from 11:00 – 5:00 and chase away your hangover with some fried chicken, biscuits, and beer. Chef Warren Peterson is devising a special menu that includes some good, old fashioned, country-style hangover cures. For instance, a buttermilk fried chicken biscuit sandwich with country gravy and spiced honey.

“And don’t worry, there will be plenty of bacon and eggs to add to that sandwich,” says Mark Leavens, who manages the taproom/restaurant at the brewery. “We figure that our resolutions can wait one more day, right? Along with the food specials, we’ll be serving Beermosa’s, real Mimosas, Brewery Mary’s, $4 Hoppy Holiday and $3 Emerald ISA pints, with Happy Hour running from 3:00 – 5:00.”
