Rooftop Brewing celebrating 5th anniversary on August 11th

Seattle’s Rooftop Brewing invites you to join them for an anniversary celebration on Saturday, August 11th at the brewery and taproom on Nickerson Street. To commemorate five years of beer, they’ll release their first canned offering: Gateway Hazy Pale.

To mark the occasion, Rooftop Brewing expands into the parking lot next door, thanks to the generosity of their neighbors, Greenhome Solutions. Enjoy food from SoSo Good and Seoul Bowl, along with ice cream treats from Sweet Alchemy. Other fun stuff, like a photobooth, a cornhole tournament and live music round out the festivities, not to mention face painting and sidewalk chalk for the kiddos.

As for the beer release, they are commemorating the release of their first canned beer with Gateway Hazy Pale t-shirts, glasses and koozies. Rooftop Brewing describes the beer like this: “Easy to drink and full of citrus flavor and aroma, this is Rooftop’s “hoppy” beer for people who “don’t like hoppy beers,” designed to help you appreciate the hops without all of the bitterness.”
