Seattle Beer Week at Brouwer’s

A few days ago we published our top picks for Washington-focused beer events happening during Seattle Beer Week. When we did that, we told you that we would soon start to publish listings for events taking place at Seattle’s best-loved beer bars. That way, if you are exceptionally fond of one particular place, you will know what and when is happening at your favorite beer spot.

Today we start with Brouwer’s Cafe, where they are not pulling any punches and have some great events planned. Here are a few highlights. These highlights are based on what we think will be the coolest events. It’s just our opinion. The complete list is also provided below. Visit the Brouwer’s blog for updates and details.

Highlights:

The Back in Black Stout Fest (Friday, May 14th) will feature more than 40 stouts from breweries near and far. Understandably, a lot of people are excited about this one. You can trust that Brouwer’s is assembling an impressive selection of black beauties.

The Tomme Arthur Experience (Wednesday, May 19th). It seems the details are still coming together for this one. There is one thing you can count on, Tomme Arthur (Port Brewing/Lost Abbey) makes incredible beers. I’m guessing he’ll be bringing some rare treats with him. You are sure to find at least one that will blow your mind.

Sour Beer Fest (Thursday, May 20th). The lineup has yet to be announced, but there will be a reported 40 sour beers on tap at one time. Folks, that’s a lot of sour beer. I’m puckering up, in a good way, just thinking about it. Again, you can trust that Brouwer’s is putting together an amazing selection.
