Seattle Beer Week events at Canterbury Ale House

Last year the Canterbury Ale House on Capitol Hill reopened after a serious facelift. The venerable watering hole, beloved for being something of a neighborhood dive bar, completely reinvented itself.  The Canterbury has now successfully completed the transformation to top notch beer bar with 30 taps. If you want to read more about the transformation, I direct you to the story that our friend Tan Vinh wrote for the Seattle Times last August. (click here)

For Seattle Beer Week this year, the Canterbury Ale House is serving up ten days of events. The Canterbury Ale House is located at 534 15th Ave. E. in Seattle. Details below:

The Canterbury Ale House has a long, fabled past of reigning as the quintessential Capitol Hill watering hole. Nowadays, The Canterbury Ale House has stepped up their game and now holds the title of being a Top 25 Craft Beer Account for Washington State.

The Canterbury of today resembles its humble beginnings as the medieval alehouse while maturing with the neighborhood’s ever evolving taste in beer and libations. Behind the expansive bar are 30 unique taps of local, imported and hard-to-find beer. Purveyors of craft and rare beer rejoice as local favorites from Mac & Jacks, HIlliards, Two Beers, Black Raven, and Fremont find their way in the constant rotation of taps along with rarities such as Chimay White.

For those indifferent by fancier brews, not to worry! Monday only The Canterbury Ale House serves up a locally sourced burger and a can of Rainier for only $5.00, making this combo one of the best deals in Seattle.
