Seattle Beer Week – Ready for Kick Off

Tomorrow is the day. Seattle’s first ever official Beer Week (as proclaimed by the Mayor himself) gets underway. There are dozens of great events scheduled around the city. Each day, we will publish a “Happening Today” list. Seattle Beer Week runs from Thursday, May 7th thru Sunday, May 17th. Yes, it’s an 11 day week (so much beer, so little time).

Get out there and do something! We encourage you to visit the official Seattle Beer Week site and the Seattle Beer Week blog for additional information. Of course, we’ll be going to some of the events and reporting about them here. We don’t have the man power or the liver power to cover all of the events. If you are going to be out and about and are interested in contributing, shoot us an email.

To get things started, here is a list of events that will span multiple days.

May 8th & 9th“Hop-Scotch” 7th annual tasting experience highlighting the best of malt beverages including new spring beers, exclusive import beers, and premium Scotch. Friday session 5pm – 12am, Saturday Session 1pm – 12am.
