Sixgill Celebrates its First Anniversary Tonight

Happy anniversary to our friends in Fremont. It was one year ago today that The Sixgill opened in its doors and began serving up delicious beers alongside equally delicious food. To mark the occasion, The Sixgill has something special planned tonight (Thurs. April 24).

“We’ll be tapping a bunch of cool beers,” said Ellen Kelly, owner/operator at The Sixgill. “They’ll be up on our website by opening time at 4pm.  We’re donating $1 from each draft pour to Sixgill shark research at The Seattle Aquarium and raffling off Aquarium memberships and other prizes as well as having free brewery glassware giveaways throughout the night. Also, we have been fortunate to have Chris Fletcher, formerly of Marche, join us as our chef.  We have a ton of new, fun, seasonal offerings so if you haven’t been in for a bite in a while, I think you’ll like the direction we’re going.”
