Snohomish Co. Beer Week Kicks Off Today

Today is the first day of Snohomish County Beer Week. The week-long celebration kicks off today at Fred’s Rivertown Ale House is Snohomish. For those of you north of Seattle, this event is intended to showcase the great beers and great beer bars of Snohomish County and we encourage you to get out and show your support for your local brewers and publicans.
In addition to Fred’s Rivertown Alehouse, events will take place at Alligator Soul, Big E Brewing, Rory’s Pub and Grill, the Balefire, Scuttlebutt Brewing, and Diamond Knot Brewing.
Below is more information from the official Web site , which we encourage you to visit. (http://www.snohomishcountybeerweek.com)

Snohomish County Beer Week is the brainchild of George Shiley of Fred’s Rivertown Alehouse in Snohomish and Matt Younts of Click Distributing. The purpose of the event is to showcase Snohomish County Breweries and Snohomish County establishments that pour local beers. We want people to know that they don’t need to drive to Seattle to enjoy quality craft beer.
Each of the participating breweries, Big E Brewing, Diamond Knot Brewing, Scuttlebutt Brewing, and Lazy Boy Brewing will be showcasing a special beer for the event.

  1. About the special beers being served for SnoCo Beer Week: Diamond Knot made a Scottish ale, Lazy Boy a pepper beer, Big E a Marzen, and Scuttlebutt a Black Pilsener.
Just learned that from George at Fred’s Rivertown Alehouse
