Sour Beers Aplenty at Engine House No. 9 this Saturday

This Saturday, August 3rd, Engine House No. 9 in Tacoma will host a sour beer festival. In addition to their own E9 sour beers, they have at least 22 other beers lined up for your enjoyment. Anything that does not make it into the rotation on Saturday will go on tap Sunday as tap space becomes available.  List of beer is below.

The E9 has been around forever, or so it seems. Until a couple years ago, nobody really took much notice. These days, that has changed and this once obscure brewery is making a name for itself with uncommon, interesting and delicious beers. Like Belgian-style beers and sour beers. Engine House No. 9 is located at 611 North Pine St., Tacoma, WA 98406. map

  1. Kendall is right about the E9, and much of the credit for it’s success in recent years is due to Shane and the fantastic beers he’s brewing. Wish I could be there for this.

  2. Don’t forget Shawn as well! Hard worker and ALWAYS has a smile on his face! Both are wonderful brewers and friends! Can’t wait, we’ll be there at 11:00 am or so.
