Reuben’s Brews just announced the pending release of two special beers. Also, one upcoming event. Here’s the info straight from the source. Bourbon Barrel Imperial Stout release – Saturday, Nov 19 at noon.
We’re pleased to announce the release date for this year’s vintage of our Bourbon Barrel Imperial Stout (BBIS)! BBIS is quickly turning into one of our most decorated beers – it’s currently Grand National Champion at the US Beer Tasting Awards, a Gold Medal winner at the World Beer Championships, and won Silver earlier this year at the San Diego International Beer Festival. We pulled this years batch out of the barrels back in June and have been letting it age out in our cooler, to soften and round out some of the 12% alcohol notes. It’s now in the perfect place! A nose of cherry, vanilla, tobacco and rich chocolate, with a little leather as the beer warms. A rich, smooth, and warming mouthfeel brings in notes of raisin, plum and prune, with some light oak in the finish to wrap up the sip.
We’re releasing BBIS in 22oz bottles for $16 each (plus tax) as well as on draft. 12oz fills – $6 each and 6oz fills – $4 each. Buy a limited edition taster glass with your 6oz fill for $10 total. We will have our vintage 2013, 2014, and 2015 BBIS tapped throughout different times of the day. Party tents will be set up on our deck incase of bad weather. Holiday Gose is Back!

Whet your Thanksgiving appetite with the return of our delicious Holiday Gose. This cranberry-orange variation of our award-winning gose is fermented with our house lactobacillus culture and includes 10 lbs of fresh cranberries per barrel, sweet orange zest, a touch of coriander and a hint of sea salt.
We’re releasing the Holiday Gose in 4-packs of 12oz cans in the taproom beginning at 3 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 3! The 4-packs will be $9 each. It will also be available on tap and for growler fills in the taproom.
