On Saturday, August 26th Stoup Brewing is throwing a Yard Party. What’s that? Well, they’re taking over the vacant yard next to their beer garden, setting up a stage for live music, and having big shindig.
“Taking over this area for the day will effectively quadruple our outdoor space,” said Lara Zahaba, one of Stoup’s Co-Owners. “And one more bar in the yard means we will have four places for customers to easily grab a beer.”
Live music will kick off at 2:00, First up, BRAWNS, a funk/rock/jazz influenced quartet that features Stoup Brewing’s own Cam Hancock. Next, SILVER TREASON is bringing a little bit of country and a little bit of Rock-n-Roll west of the mountains from Spokane. Then, local beer legend Larry Rock’s band, PLANET FLY, will get funky at 6:00. Finally, GOLDEN IDOLS are headlining at 8:00 with a promise to “make you dance, and laugh, and have the best time ever in the history of anything.”
Seattle Children’s Museum will also be on site with activities for the whole family. “This is not a drop-off area,” cautions Zahaba. “But parents will be able to enjoy a beer while helping their little ones with a fun project.”
Guests should arrive via the main entrance where adults will be carded and given a wrist band for easy identification at any of the four bars. Beer will be available in the main tap room, outside in the beer garden, Upstairs (our 21+, pet free zone) and by the stage in the extended yard. This 4th bar will be a cash bar though tokens good for one pint may also be purchased inside with a credit card.
Wicked Good Grinders will set up shop out front from 1:00 – 8:00. For desert, or just a treat, Nutty Squirrel Gelato will dish it up from 2:00 – 6:00. Raney Bro’s BBQ will be in the yard near the stage from 2:00 -9:00. Beez Neez Sausages will be there from 3:00 – 7:00.
