Sumerian Brewing Company, welcome aboard

We reported a few weeks ago about the opening of Sumerian Brewing in Woodinville. To learn more about the brewery and the people behind it, read that post. Last weekend we stopped by the brewery and taproom in Woodinville for an initial visit. Both the beers and the location impressed us, so today we are happy to welcome them aboard as a new sponsor.

The taproom opened several weeks ago but Sumerian Brewing plans to celebrate its official Grand Opening on June 27th. You’ll have other opportunities to experience their beers before that.

This Thursday, Sumerian Brewing will participate in the 3rd Annual Brewery Night at the Ballpark (read our post). This weekend, find Sumerian Brewing at the Washington Brewers Festival at Marymoor Park in Redmond. The brewery is distributing beer to a number of local bars and was even spotted recently on tap at the Space Needle – see the list below.

Paul Shipman, founder of Redhook Ale Brewery, recently visited Sumerian and said he also approves and predicts success.

Sumerian Brewing is located in Woodinville, not far from Redhook. The spacious taproom is comfortable and bright, and still has that “new taproom” smell. There is also some outdoor patio seating. You’ll often find local food trucks serving grub to accompany your beer. Keep an eye on Sumerian’s Facebook, Instagram and Twitter accounts.
