Sumerian Brewing is getting ready to release its first canned beers. The Woodinville brewery has some special stuff planned surrounding the release. Here’s the info about that, and some other news, straight from the brewery.
May 1st. we’ll be making some BIG waves with our first cans to market of the Holy Water Citra IPA and Hopruption DIPA. The Odom Corporation preordered 600 cases (300 each) of Holy Water / Hopruption. Our 2nd. canning date is May 22nd. In between the canning cycles, we’ll be bottling our lineup of the Lucidity Pilsner, Narcissism and Hopruption on May 12th, just in time for Mother’s Day!
Notably our local Woodinville Haggen’s Foods has partnered on a first cans to market display in the lobby of the Woodinville store. Whole Foods stores will conduct in store tastings to run in conjunction with Seattle Beer Week on Monday, May 8th, 3-6pm @Redmond, Wednesday, May 10th @Lynnwood. A series of Brewers nights will also showcase our cans. Additionally, Costco Seattle Roadshows will take place on Friday & Sat. May 19-20.
Outside the excitement of canning, join Sumerian Brewing Company for the movie, “The Bus”, Brews & Vintage Volkswagen’s Show on Sunday, May 21st, 2 PM – 5 PM! Come watch the documentary film “The Bus” while enjoying a fantastic brew and gourmet bratwurst! Mingle with Volkswagen Enthusiasts and view a wide range of VWs from rusty patina ones to beautiful restored show cars! Our head Brewer will be showcasing a VW! No entry required! 21-over in the brewpub. This is one of many car, bike events hosted at Sumerian.
