Back in May we told you about the upcoming Tacoma Craft Beer Festival. (Read our previous post for more details about the festival.) Today we want to announce that the festival date has changed. Originally scheduled for September 8th, the event has been rescheduled and will take place on Saturday, September 1st. Tickets go on sale July 15th.
This is the fourth year for this festival and the second year that it will take place on the Foss Waterway. This year’s event promises more beer, great food and live entertainment. Over 50 craft breweries will participate. Here is the press release we received from festival organizers today:

Sorry about this, the Venue was double booked and we didn’t want to fight with the Alzheimer’s foundation. That would make us look like bullies.

The 4Th Annual Tacoma Craft Beer Festival will be held Saturday September 1st, from 11am to 8pm at 21st Street Park located at 2101 Dock St in downtown Tacoma, with all profits benefiting Tacoma Historical Society. This event is being held to bring together those that are passionate about craft beer, and to further build community while promoting this amazing beverage in the South Sound.
