The Tap House Grill just announced that it is giving away a trip to Belgium. And that’s just part of what the Tap House Grill has planned for its ten-year anniversary.

Here is the press release with the details:

1.5 million pints served ……Tap House Grill Celebrates Ten GREAT “Beer Filled” Years & will give away a trip to Belgium!

Bellevue, WA—(May 29, 2012)— August 26th through September 1st, Tap House Grill in Bellevue and Seattle will be celebrating their tenth anniversary with brew fueled fanfare and kegs full of surprises. Tap House Grill has served guests over 1.5 million pints of beer since 2002, “We’re going to celebrate in a big way,” said owner Paul Reder.

“All our guests who visit us from our IPA Week through our anniversary, August 16 through the 26th, can “enter to win” various prizes,” he added. “The grand prize is a trip for two to Brussels, Belgium to visit two of the breweries who supply to Tap House Grill; Timmerman’s and Duvel Brewery. Both breweries will include a brewery tour, meal and tasting. The winners will receive airfare from Tap House Grill and 4 nights stay at The Courtyard by Marriott Brussels Hotel. “Other anniversary prizes include lunch and dinner, once a month for a year at Tap House and a Tap House Growler filled once a week for a year,” said Reder.

Both Tap House Grill locations will be holding special events and parties throughout the anniversary week, including a private party for their coveted “160 Club” members, a select group of loyal customers who have experienced all 160 beers on tap. Tap House will also celebrate a ceremonial tapping of a new collaboration; an Imperial Alt, created by Skagit River, Ninkasi and Naked City Breweries. “This beer is collectively being created and brewed specially for the anniversary,” said Bellevue General Manager, Patrice Fuller. “These kegs will be tapped on August 27th, the day of our 160 Club parties, at both of our restaurants,” she added. “These members will be the first to taste and experience this special beer then we’ll offer it to our regular guests. We are also excited about featuring other great beers from various brewers including a unique Firkin beer during our anniversary celebration.”

“A Firkin is a cask-conditioned beer, which means it continues to ferment once it’s put in the cask, creating carbon dioxide. They are not hooked up to CO2 like the other beers. We will set it at the end of the bar, on the bar, and tap it,” she added. “It is very cool.”

Tap House will also feature a “roll back” menu with some original items from the first Tap House Grill menu including fisherman’s pie, the shrimp spring roll, crab stuffed prawns and the tuna melt.

Tap House Grill owner, Paul Reder added, “ In the past ten years we have served over 20,000 kegs of beer to our guests. These beers have come from around the world including small, local brewers and brewers from across Europe and the United States. We want this celebration to be over the top. We’ve had ten great years and have a lot to be grateful for.” He continued, “We also have five original employees from opening day who are still working with us and we want to thank them for their loyalty, dedication and commitment to our restaurants. They certainly need to be celebrated and thanked,” added Paul.

Restaurant consultant, Arnold Shain added, “Paul Reder has experienced ten successful years because of his commitment to quality and exceptional service.” He continued, “Tap House Grill is a consistent operation and offers a high quality product. You know what you’re going to get when you go there.”

Bellevue Downtown Association President, Leslie Lloyd added, “Tap House excels in consistency and customer service. I’m always blown away by the courage restaurateurs have. Paul took a risk 10 years ago as a pioneer, catering both to downtown Bellevue’s lunch-time and late-night crowd. We salute his success and congratulate the Tap House team on an amazing first decade as one our city’s best-loved restaurants.”

Tap House Grill’s IPA Week takes place August 16 through 26th with over 40 rotating IPA’s being introduced to the Tap house line up. “Our IPA Week is a highly anticipated promotion with our customers looking forward to each new IPA we introduce. It’s a great way to kick off our anniversary celebration.”
