Tapping today – Beer Church Pale Ale in Burien

In late October, Kim and I made a beer with Big Al Brewing – Beer Church Pale Ale. We’ve talked about it here on the blog quite a bit. Today we’re announcing that the beer is just about gone. The last kegs are being delivered, though Big Al suggests that he might have a couple more stashed, just in case someone wants to jump into the game.

Beer Church Pale Ale will be going on tap today at Vino Bello in Burien (a sponsor of this-here blog, thank you very much). It will soon (today or tomorrow) be going on tap at the Whistle Stop Alehouse in Renton, as well.

Kim enjoying a glass of bubbles, while our buddy Kyle enjoys a glass of locally brewed draft beer. That's what we love about Vino Bello - great wine and great beer!

As we’ve explained, proceeds from this beer benefit the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, a cause that is very near and dear to us. We appreciate every bar that has put it on tap and every person who has quaffed a pint.

You’d have to check and see who’s still pouring it, but Beer Church Pale Ale is out there right now at places like Naked City Taphouse, the Dray, the Barking Dog, the Porterhouse Pub, the Beveridge Place, the Dog and Pony, the Gaslamp Bar and Grill, Moon Dogs Too, the Balefire, Black Raven Brewing, and now Vino Bello and the Whistle Stop.

Shoot, I’m probably forgetting someone, too. I’m sorry. I’m a bit bleary eyed this morning. Last night I lost another friend to cancer. Yep, you guessed it. This cause just continues to grow near and dear to my heart. Since I was 16 years old this disease has been killing people I love. And that sucks.

So Beer Church Pale Ale is out there doing its good work and we thank you all for your support. Other than that, this morning I have nothing good to talk about or tell.
