Tickets now on sale for the Sip Experience

Sip Northwest magazine takes you inside the world of Northwest imbibement. (Did I just invented that word?) Beer, cider, cocktails, and wine, if you sip it and feel happy, they cover it. Below I share information about The Sip Experience, which offers you a chance to taste the goodness that is packed into the pages of the magazine. Not just taste, but experience. Read on.

The Sip Experience showcases more than 40 drinks producers (listed below), all featured in the Spring issue of Sip Northwest, along with food, live music and more. The event takes place on Thursday, May 17th in downtown Seattle at a cool, new event venue, Sanctuary Seattle, a revitalized 100-year old church.

According to event organizers, “Sip Northwest has produced this fundraising bash to demonstrate how the readers can enjoy the content of the pages in real life. Think a how-to on a mimosa bar, a lesson and tasting on heritage cider and apples, a store to stock up on pro-recommended essentials for a home bar, sommelier-made wines, beers from Seattle’s hoppy Georgetown neighborhood, producers pouring sustainably made products and others splashing sips made to defend women’s rights — each uncovering the different sections of the magazine for guests to experience themselves.”

Plus, Seattle’s favorite Papa Bueno Tequila will be shaking up cocktails in the Halo Bar upstairs, with live musical performances on the main floor by Saint Claire and Kate D.

And the best part? Proceeds from The Sip Experience benefit the Washington State Council of Firefighters.
