On Saturday, April 11, Top Rung Brewing releases three new beers at the brewery and tasting room in Lacey. The special releases commemorate the brewery’s 1st Anniversary. One of the three beers will actually be released on Friday. See the poster below.
Before teaming up to open Top Rung Brewing, Jason Stoltz and Casey Stobol worked together as firefighters, which explains the name of the brewery and its beers. The brewery is located just a couple minutes off Interstate 5 in Lacey (Exit 111), where you’ll find a spacious, pleasant tasting room complete with south-facing beer patio. Top Rung Brewing New Beer Releases

On April 11th we will release our Flashover Red as part of our pilot batch series in the brewery tasting room only. The Flashover Red is based upon our 360 Red Ale but with the kick of Serrano, Anaheim, Jalapeno, and Habanero peppers balanced with vanilla bean and oak chips. This beer was designed to provide a beer with a good pepper aroma upfront with some subtle heat in the back. It will be released as part of our 1-year anniversary Beerbalation event this weekend at the brewery.
On April 11th we will release our seasonal, Good Jake Cascadian Dark Ale. This will be our second year for the Good Jake and there has been anticipation for this beer to come back. Dark black in color with a super big dark, malty, and hoppy aroma with a hint of coffee and chocolate notes throughout. ABV: 6.1%, IBU: 55. It will be released as part of our 1-year anniversary Beerbalation event this weekend at the brewery.

On April 10th we will release our 1st bourbon barrel aged beer, our Bourbon Barrel Aged Pyrolysis Imperial Stout. This is a big beer and the bourbon takes our Pyrolysis Imperial Stout to new heights. Dark and malty with notes of coffee and chocolate boosted with a smooth bourbon finish.
