According to the all-knowing Wikipedia, friggatriskaidekaphobia is the Fear of Friday the 13th. To help soothe your irrational fear of a day and a number, the Big Time Brewery Pub is using Friday the 13th as an excuse to tap into an array of IPAs. Not that the Big Time ever needs much of an excuse to tap into a bunch of IPAs.
A lot of people around Seattle don’t know that the Big Time has a sister: Triple Rock Brewery and Alehouse in Berkeley, California. If you ever get a chance to meet her (pictured below), the family resemblance is remarkable. The Big Time has some of its sister’s beer to share with you. In particular, the IPAX IPA. Here is the email we received today from Drew Cluley, head brewer at the Big Time Brewery.
It’s a known fact that Jason the masked villain in the Friday the 13th movies loved IPA. Really, just ask anyone!
Come to the Big Time tomorrow (Friday 13th) and taste some of the wonderful IPA’s that both we here at the Big Time, and our sister brewpub Triple Rock in Berkeley California produce.
