Brouwer’s Cafe has some great events coming up over the course of the six weeks. A special night of tacos and sour beers with New Belgium Brewing on September 21st, an evening of fresh hop ales and barrel-aged beers with Fremont Brewing on October 4th, a brewer’s night event with Jacob Leonard of Breakside Brewery on October 11th, and finally a brewers night event featuring beers from one of Bellingham’s newest breweries, Structures Brewing, on October 18th.

Thursday, Sept. 21 at 6pm — An evening with New Belgium Brewing Co.! We will have a great line up of their sour beers on draft (listed below). We’re making some crazy (stunt) tacos. And, our special guest Jamie Mastin will be spinning records and playing some groovy tunes throughout the evening.

This is our 2nd annual celebration of Fremont’s Fresh Hop Series! We’re huge fans and this is a much anticipated event showcasing their seasonally delicious offerings, including the Field to Ferment and Cowiche Canyon series of fresh hop beers, and more. We’ve also been sitting on some of their exceptional barrel-aged beers, and thought what could be better, fresh hops and barrel-aged offerings all in one awesome evening! We’ll be pouring…

Wednesday, October 11th @ 6pm — A Evening with Breakside Brewery featuring Brewer Jacob Leonard.
When we stopped by Breakside Brewery in Portland a few months ago Jacob graciously showed us around and sampled us on some of their fine barrels and fresh IPAs. We decided then and there to host him for a Brewer’s Night, and we welcome you to join us!
This draft list is subject to change and not every beer has been confirmed but it will be close to the following:

- Rum Barrel aged Golden
- Pilsner
- Flagship IPA
- A couple beers from Slabtown or Dekum, or from their B-Sides series.
Wednesday, October 18th @6pm – An Evening with Structures Brewing from Bellingham.
Structures is one of Bellingham’s newest breweries, and we’ve been big fans since they opened, heading there many a days after riding mountain bikes, or when we just need to get away from the big city!
This night has been a while in the planning, so we are super excited to finally be celebrating Structure’s awesome libations, joined by James and Max.
We will be tapping 4-6 beers, spanning the spectrum of their offerings. Look for there to be some rare beers for the Seattle Market, from IPA to Sour.
