Valley House Brewing coming soon to Duvall

Valley House Brewing is poised to open in Duvall. Exact date to be determined. The original Valley House was the stuff of legend. It stood in the Snoqualmie River Valley near Duvall and operated from 1892 until 1905, presumable a victim of Prohibition. The Duvall Historical Society’s photo of the old place includes a caption that reads, “The highly respectable citizens of the valley looked with censure at the “goings on” at the Valley House…”

Sounds like my kind of place.

We know that Andy, the brewer for Valley House Brewing, has been brewing some collaboration beers at local breweries for an open house event. (Pictured above: Andy, on the right, with Beaux Bowman of Black Raven Brewing. From Facebook.) Other information we’ve gathered, Valley House will be a brewery with a 21+ taproom. The location is on the main drag in downtown Duvall at 16111 Main Street.

Some of you may remember Andy Lapworth, who will be the brewer at Valley House Brewing. Many moons ago, when Black Raven Brewing was in its infancy, Andy brewed alongside Black Raven’s founder Beaux Bowman.

We’ll continue to share information about Valley House Brewing as it becomes available. I would encourage you to follow them on  Facebook and sign up for the email list.
