WA Beer online. Finally, it's okay for us to talk about it

We have a motto here at the Washington Beer Blog: “The worst thing we’ll ever say about you is nothing at all.” In other words, there’s a lot of stuff you don’t read about on our blog. We’re here to share the love, not spit venom.
Today, I want to share some love for our friends at the Washington Beer Commission – the official organization, sanctioned by the state, that promotes Washington Beer.
One thing you have not read about on the Washington Beer Blog is the Washington Beer Commission’s online presence. More specifically, the lack thereof. I understand the limitations and constraints within which the Commission operates (understaffed and underfunded) and I have always respected their efforts. They are very good at the things they do, such as organizing awesome Washington beer events; however, I’ve been dreaming of the day that they join us here online. Instead of griping about it here on the blog, I’ve expressed my thoughts directly to the commission. Of course they agreed with me. However, as I said, they operate under limitations and constraints.
Remember, the worst thing we’ll ever say about it is nothing at all.
Today I’m talking about the Washington Beer Commission’s online presence. Yay!  That’s good news for the Washington Beer Commission and all Washington beer lovers. In the last few months they’ve made improvements by leaps and bounds!
The upcoming Belgianfest has now been officially announced. Check out what they’ve done.
They have produced a lovely Web site for the event (www.washingtonbeer.com/belgian.htm).
They have created a Facebook group for the event.
Not specific to Belgianfest, but you can now follow the Washington Beer Commission on Twitter. (twitter.com/WashingtonBeer)
This is awesome.  Nice work Lisa, Eric and everyone involved!
I would be remiss if I failed to mention that you can follow the Washington Beer Blog on Facebook and Twitter, as well. But that’s not news.
