WANTED: Brewers interested in serving beer to a beer-loving crowd.

On April 24th, Bellingham will be the site of the April Brews Day celebration—a beer festival and fundraiser. All proceeds will benefit the Max Higbee Center, a non-profit agency that provides recreational opportunities for teens and adults with developmental disabilities.

The event organizers have told me that they are expecting upwards of 3,000 people at this event. Although they currently have 22 breweries registered to pour (listed below), they need more. They would love to hear from you and could use your help supporting this great cause. If you are interested in pouring beer at this event, please contact Janet Lightner by email or phone (360-303-9332). Brewers, here’s an opportunity to branch out and get your beer in front of beer lovers up north.

Here are the event details:

Saturday, April 24
6:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m.
Location: Depot Market Square, downtown Bellingham.
(At the corner of Railroad Ave. and Chestnut St., across the street from Boundary Bay Brewery).
