Scott, thanks for chiming in. I revised the post to say that all of the applications are either free or 99 cents. Sorry 'bout that. It is pretty obvious which of these apps was put together by real beer lovers - real, northwest beer lovers. Keep up the good work! wbb

Hi, I'm Scott (@gizmopunk) or @Taplister via Twitter. Team Taplister can't thank you enough for this thoughtful review of Beer Signal designed by Ken Baer (@Kbaer). We have been working on Taplister a ton lately and it will soon have even more to offer. You said it best though, the more people use it the more useful it becomes. We are also REAL beer geeks from Portland, which might attribute to our new but nimble service. If anybody has any interest in adding their bar or want to share any geeky little ideas regarding our site email us at Team@taplister.com. Cheers, we hope you all keep drinking amazing brews and demanding better beer applications. By the way Beer Signal is free for all, not $.99, FYI: Ken is working on a paid app that makes me want to wet my pants with Westvleteren. We're all about to be very spoiled, iPhone using, beer drinking North Westernites. P.S. If you're an Android developer give us a shout we don't mean to leave you guys out. OK, long comment, Thanks again. -Co-founder & Taplister Beervangelist

I know I'm being pedantic but it bugs me that Beer Cloud called their beer & food pairing mode "Sommelier." Sommelier by definition pertains only to wine. So they're completely wrong. A cicerone is the version for beer. Maybe they were concerned not enough people know that term yet, but they still shouldn't have used an incorrect term - they could have just put "food pairing" instead.
